Focus





The Cardiff demonstrator had a focus on the use of the Results Based Accountability methodology widely used in Local Government to determine population and individual level outcome indicators and, for example, are applied this to work on Epilepsy, where following service mapping work with clinicians led to a focus on first fit patents.  

Cardiff also tested intermediate care clinics between 'secondary' and 'primary care' and the usefulness of the PRISM tool for Case Managers and Clinical Champions as part of the wider evaluation of PRISM carried out by the Demonstrators.
