International Conference and Exhibition November 10th and 11th 2010
The National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare (NLIAH) co-hosted an international event on 10th and 11th November at City Hall, Cardiff.
The conference provided a unique opportunity to take stock of international developments to date, challenge assumptions and inform next steps. The conference itself drew on leading international expertise as well as the experience of those working directly with people and patients to prevent illness, improve services and find sustainable and affordable solutions for the future.
The aim of the conference was to stimulate debate and provide inspiration for the challenges ahead, highlighting developments and future opportunities to improve chronic conditions management and public health.The conference also brought together key health decision and policy makers, public health professionals, clinicians, local government, third sector and other stakeholders.
The CCM Demonstrator national and local teams were present and presented in workshops as well as having a display stand which highlighted all published Demonstrtaor output to date. The conference was also notable for the launch of the the CCM Demonstrator Year 2 Report which detailed all work since programme inception in 2008.
